OKLAHOMA CITY – Senate Pro Tem Greg Treat, R-Oklahoma City, today issued the following statement after the Senate voted 45-to-2, overriding Governor Kevin Stitt’s veto of Senate Bill 1130.

Senate Bill 1130 essentially prevents the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) from spending $600 million of Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) money this year. This bill puts the funds back into the appropriations process through the legislature, which is required by the state constitution.
