OKLAHOMA CITY — Sen. David Bullard, R-Durant, has advanced legislation that would maintain local control of funds raised by local county extension offices across the state.

By keeping locally raised funds separate from state funds, House Bill 3557 ensures that those local dollars can’t be redirected away from county offices.

New law will restore fairness and transparency in dental insurance practices

OKLAHOMA CITY - Legislation authored by Senator Kristen Thompson, R-Edmond, that will restore fairness and transparency in dental insurance practices has been signed into law by the governor.

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Senate Business and Insurance Committee on Thursday unanimously advanced legislation from Sen. David Bullard, R-Durant, to recruit more people into the plumbing industry and make it easier for individuals to get licensed in the field.

OKLAHOMA CITY – As Chairman of the Senate Energy Committee, Sen. Grant Green, R-Wellston, today successfully amended a colleague’s bill to revive legislation that could permanently ban the land application of sewage sludge and biosolids on farms and ranches.

Green worked with Sen. Jack Stewart, R-Yukon, to amend a House bill that would create the Oklahoma Biosolids Land Application Research Pilot Program at Oklahoma State University.
