• The Senate met Monday, approving the following measures:

-SB 965 by Sen. Bryce Marlatt, requires the Oklahoma Water Resources Board to transition from congressional district and at-large representation to regional representation based on specified guidelines.

-SB 226 by Sen. John Ford, allows students who fail to achieve requirements necessary for a high school diploma to re-enroll in that particular school district until a proficient score is attained.

• The Senate met Monday, approving the following measures:

-SB 908 by Sen. Brian Bingman, authorizes the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to accept, on behalf of the state, any gift of property presented to the Legislature or judiciary.

-SR 31 by Sen. Mike Schulz, honors the life and service of Senate Sergeant at Arms Bob Gilmore.

• The Senate met Monday, approving the following measures:

-SB 587 by Sen. Don Barrington, raises fees for drivers licenses, answering the increasing costs of maintaining the license system.

-SB 89 by Sen. Roger Ballenger, increases the fine for any state traffic citation referring to any form of littering on public or private property.

-SB 374 by Sen. Bill Brown, establishes various requirements for boat rental businesses operating in state parks.
