• • The Senate approved numerous budget measures and the following substantive bills on Monday:
-SB 1712 by Sen. Patrick Anderson, creates the Commercial Pet Breeders Act.
-SB 1281 by Sen. Patrick Anderson, increases from $5 to $25 the fee charged by the State Board of Cosmetology for registration as an apprentice or student.
