The Senate adopted a resolution Monday encouraging the National Rifle Association (NRA) to move its headquarters from Fairfax, Virginia, to Oklahoma. State Sen. Micheal Bergstrom, R-Adair, authored Senate Resolution 6.

The NRA is known as America’s foremost defender of the Second Amendment and the premier firearms education organization in the world. They are currently looking to move their incorporation from New York to Texas and are considering moving their national headquarters out of Fairfax.
