The 39-member Senate Republican Caucus held leadership elections during a retreat this week in Oklahoma City. After previously serving as an assistant whip, Coleman ran unopposed in his bid for majority whip.

One person died because of the destructive storms, others were injured, and Barnsdall and other communities are still reeling from the extreme damage left in the wake of the tornado.
Law enforcement officers and first responders from multiple jurisdictions are in Osage County to take the lead on search and rescue efforts and help Oklahomans suffering from medical injuries.
