Sen. Christi Gillespie’s connection to Oklahoma began as a child when she moved to the state and grew up in Broken Arrow. Embracing the values and challenges of her community, she developed a deep understanding of the needs of local families and a strong commitment to serving others.
Brian Guthrie was born and raised in Bixby and has worked in the community since his early teen years. After graduating from Bixby High School in 1997 and earning a Business degree in 2001, he took a leap into entrepreneurship by founding a construction company. Over the course of six years, he grew the business, created numerous well-paying jobs, and later sold it to pursue a full-time career in real estate.
OKLAHOMA CITY — Sen. David Bullard, R-Durant, released the following statement regarding the filing of a new state question that aims to change Oklahoma’s elections to impose open primaries.
“On November 5th, Oklahoma spoke loud and clear that we are a conservative state that is only becoming more conservative. So, why then would Oklahoma suddenly move to a liberal, open primary system, which seeks only to disenfranchise Republicans? This proposed state question is a sure pathway to turn our state blue and a ‘solution’ in search of a problem.

Senator Jonathan Wingard was born and raised in Ada on his grandparents’ dairy farm and attended Latta Public Schools. As part of a multigenerational farming family, he learned from a young age the value of hard work.
A recently retired veteran, Senator Wingard devoted nearly 19 years of his life to the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He was deployed numerous times on active-duty missions, including deployments to Kuwait and Afghanistan. While enlisted, he also participated in numerous active-duty missions across Oklahoma.
Regina Goodwin, a native of Tulsa, grew up on historic Greenwood Avenue. After graduating from Booker T. Washington High School in 1980, she received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Kansas, and completed master’s coursework in animation at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. Goodwin, a faithful member of North Peoria Church of Christ, grew up in a loving and community-oriented family. Her grandparents, Bethel and Harold Parker, Jeanne and Ed Goodwin, Sr., and parents Alquita and Ed Goodwin, Jr.
Dr. Julie McIntosh represents Senate District 3. She is a Christian, wife, mother of four, grandmother, family physician, and small business owner. Julie is married to Brad McIntosh, who is also a family physician. They live on a farm in wagoner county where they raise cattle, chickens, and bees.
