Bullard comments on elimination of state grocery tax

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. David Bullard, R-Durant, released the following statement after the Senate approved eliminating the state portion of the grocery tax Thursday.

“It was an honor to carry and coauthor a bill to bring tax relief to Oklahomans. The Senate voted to cut the state portion of the grocery tax where so many Oklahomans have been hit hard with Biden’s reckless inflation. It is important to understand that governments don’t have revenue problems, they have spending problems and the taxpayers suffer the most. Today we did what is best for the people of Oklahoma.”
