Dossett will serve on five different Senate committees during the 57th Legislature.  Senate Democratic Leader Designate Kay Floyd has chosen Dossett to serve on the full Senate Appropriations Committee, the Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources and Regulatory Services, the Agriculture and Wildlife Committee, the Education Committee, and the Veterans and Military Affairs Committee.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Sen. Micheal Bergstrom joined a crowd of 400 aviation and aerospace professionals and students for the second annual Oklahoma Women in Aviation and Aerospace Day on December 6 in Tulsa.  The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission in partnership with the Oklahoma Airport Operators Association, the Tulsa Airport Authority Trust, and BizJet International hosted the event at the BizJet hangar at the Tulsa International Airport.

State Sen. Chuck Hall has been chosen for a committee leadership post for the 57th Legislature. Hall, R-Perry, will serve as Vice Chair of the Senate Finance Committee.  He’s also been appointed to the Full Appropriations Committee, the Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Safety and Judiciary, and the Senate Agriculture and Wildlife Committee.

OKLAHOMA CITY –   State Senator Darcy Jech has been tapped to serve in three leadership roles for the upcoming 57th Legislature.  Jech, R-Kingfisher, has been selected to serve as the Rural Caucus Chair, as well as the Chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources and Regulatory Services and the Vice-Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

State Sen. Brent Howard has been appointed to four Senate committees for the 57th Legislature. Howard, R-Altus, will serve on the Senate Agriculture and Wildlife Committee, the Judiciary Committee, the General Government Committee and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services.

            The Agriculture and Wildlife Committee primarily deals with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife and Conservation.

State Senator Adam Pugh was presented with the Visionary Award at the State Chamber of Oklahoma’s Public Affairs Forum on December 4 in Oklahoma City.

The Visionary Award, which was given for the first time this year, recognizes strong leadership in advancing the OK2030 plan for Oklahoma’s future.  Pugh was chosen by the State Chamber as this year’s recipient for his 100% supportive voting record on OK2030 issues and for authoring legislation to align state and county election dates.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. John Haste has been chosen to serve on several key committees in the Oklahoma State Senate.  Senate President Pro Tempore-designate Greg Treat announced the appointments Friday.

            The freshman Republican will serve on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services as well as the Retirement and Insurance, Education, and Veterans and Military Affairs Committees.
