OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Kevin Matthews, D-Tulsa, voiced his opposition to legislation ordering the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission to end affirmative action at the Department of Wildlife and Conservation, even though women and minorities remain greatly unrepresented.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. David Bullard, R-Durant, released the following statement after the Senate approved eliminating the state portion of the grocery tax Thursday.

OKLAHOMA CITY – On Thursday, the Senate voted to eliminate the 4.5 percent state sales tax on groceries.  The bill had already passed the House.  It now heads to the Governor’s desk.
