Stewart Honored as a 2024 Champion for Children by Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Jack Stewart, R-Yukon, has been recognized by the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy (OICA) as a “2024 Champion for Children” for his unwavering commitment to supporting Oklahoma's children through impactful legislation.

OICA’s “Champion for Children” designation celebrates Oklahoma lawmakers who demonstrate support for policies that improve the lives of children across the state. Through a review process, the organization assesses lawmakers’ voting records and assigns a score on a report card.

“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy as a Champion for Children,” Stewart said. “Ensuring the health, safety, and prosperity of our state’s youth is not just a priority; it’s a responsibility we all share. I am proud of the progress we have made and remain committed to furthering legislation that empowers and protects our youngest citizens.”

Stewart received a 100 percent on his OICA report card for the 2024 regular session.
