OKLAHOMA CITY – Spencer Kern was sworn into the Oklahoma Senate during a ceremony in the Senate Chamber on Wednesday. The Senate’s Chief Presiding Officer, Sen. Brent Howard, presided over the ceremony, and Oklahoma Supreme Court Chief Justice M. John Kane IV administered the oath of office.
“I am deeply honored to take the oath of office and begin this new chapter of service to my constituency and the State of Oklahoma. With a strong commitment to upholding our state’s values, I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to ensure that Oklahoma continues to prosper for generations to come.”
Kern has extensive experience in agricultural and energy industries in addition to small business ownership. Kern owns R&S Drugstores, manages an upland hunting preserve, and actively operates a cow/calf operation in southwest Oklahoma. He resides in Duncan with his wife, Leslee, and two sons, Coy and Connor.
He will begin his first term in the Oklahoma Senate on November 20.
