Sharp has perfect voting record

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Ron Sharp had a 100 percent voting record for the 2018 legislative session. 

“I take my job as a state Senator very seriously just as I would any other job.  The people of Senate District 17 have entrusted me with a great responsibility and I don’t ever want to let them down,” said Sharp, R-Shawnee.  “The needs of my constituents and our district are my highest priority, and I look forward to continuing to represent them.”

Sharp has also received a 100% rating from REID and the Farm Bureau the last five years.  The 2018 ratings will be released next month. 

Among his other honors, he was selected in 2017 as the Legislator of the Year by the Small Schools Superintendent Association, by the Oklahoma Construction Association in 2018, and by the Oklahoma Citizen Advocates for Recovery and Transformation Association earlier this year.
