WILBURTON, OK— Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, recognized Stephanie Keesee-Pipkin following her swearing-in as the newest member of the Eastern Oklahoma State College Board of Regents.
Hamilton said Keesee-Pipkin's extensive healthcare background and commitment to serving rural Oklahoma make her well-qualified to help guide the college as it continues preparing students for careers in Oklahoma’s most critical industries.
“Stephanie Keesee-Pipkin has dedicated her career to serving rural Oklahoma families through healthcare, and I am confident she will bring that same servant leadership to the Eastern Oklahoma State College Board of Regents,” Hamilton said. “Her experience as an APRN, small business owner and advocate for expanding opportunities in rural communities gives her a valuable perspective as the board works to ensure EOSC continues providing students with a high-quality, affordable education.”
Keesee-Pipkin is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and owner of Corner Clinic in Holdenville. She attended Murray State College before earning both her bachelor's degree in health science and master's degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout her career, she has advocated for healthcare access, workforce development and educational opportunities across rural Oklahoma.
As a member of the Eastern Oklahoma State College Board of Regents, Keesee-Pipkin will help provide oversight and strategic direction for the college.
She will serve a seven-year term ending July 1, 2033.
