Senate Democrats invite Oklahomans to participate in ‘Capitol Conversations’

OKLAHOMA CITY – Members of the Senate Democratic Caucus are inviting Oklahomans from across the state to participate in the first of a series of “Capitol Conversations,” to be held Monday, March 3, at 5:30 p.m. in room 535 of the State Capitol. Senate Democratic Leader Julia Kirt said it’s an opportunity for the public to ask questions about the 2025 legislative session and share concerns about legislation, issues and priorities important to their families and communities.

“The priorities we’ve outlined for the 2025 session are about building a better future for Oklahoma, including a great education for all kids, great jobs, better access to affordable health care, and open, fair government,” said Kirt, D-Oklahoma City. “We’re excited to invite Oklahomans from across the state to meet with us about those goals, share their views and opinions, and help us ensure more voices are being heard at the Capitol.”

To find out more or to find out how to participate virtually, contact the senator’s office by emailing Julia.Kirt@oksenate.gov or call 405-521-5636.
