Senate Democratic Leader Kirt comments on Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service’s finances

OKLAHOMA CITY – Senate Democratic Leader Julia Kirt issued the following statement on Friday regarding the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service’s (ODMHSAS) finances.

“There are long term issues to address, but it is imperative to fix the critical situation facing us right now. Our state already ranks poorly in mental health, and cuts are making it harder for Oklahomans to get the community-based behavioral health care they desperately need.” – Senate Democratic Leader Julia Kirt, D-Oklahoma City.
