OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Senate recently confirmed the executive nomination for Larry DeWitt of Cherokee to continue his service on the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission. Sen. Roland Pederson, R-Burlington, carried the nomination.
“Larry DeWitt’s deep understanding of real estate makes him a valuable asset to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission,” Pederson said. “His commitment to serving his community, coupled with his expertise, ensures that the Commission operates with a strong foundation of knowledge and professionalism. I extend my appreciation to Mr. DeWitt for his continued service to the commission and our state.”
Larry DeWitt is a lifelong resident of Northwest Oklahoma. He attended Cherokee High School, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, and Oklahoma State University, where he received both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Agricultural Economics. He currently owns a cow/calf operation in Cherokee.
DeWitt will serve a four-year term ending July 1, 2029.
