Sen. Tom Woods Issues Statement on Assassination of Charlie Kirk

OKLAHOMA CITY– Senator Tom Woods, R-Westville, released the following statement after Turning Point USA founder, Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed during an event at Utah Valley University.

“The news of Charlie Kirk’s death is both heartbreaking and sickening. Kirk was a father and a young man who dedicated his life and career to building up conservative youth. He was an admirable individual who was shot and killed while freely expressing his views at an American educational institution. Political violence must never be tolerated and should absolutely never occur in our great nation. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him during this incredibly tragic and difficult time.”
