OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Kristen Thompson, R-Edmond, Vice Chair of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, released the following statement on Senate Education Chairman Adam Pugh’s education reform priorities for the upcoming legislative session.
“I ran for office in part to improve public education for my own children, and all Oklahoma children. Senator Pugh has spent countless hours with parents and educators across our state. Derived from those conversations, an innovative and intentional strategic plan for education reform was born. While, undoubtedly, some of these bills will change during our legislative process, we all want the same thing, which is to improve educational outcomes for our children. I thank Senator Pugh for including me in this announcement and look forward to collaborating on these efforts.”
