OKLAHOMA CITY- Sen. Paul Rosino, R-Oklahoma City, encourages Oklahomans to join him in recognizing World Autism Day, a global initiative to raise awareness for individuals with autism. Rosino has been a continuous advocate for autism awareness, a cause very near to his heart.
“Many view autism as a setback, however, having a grandson with autism, I have learned that autistic individuals have a multitude of unique perspectives and abilities,” Rosino said. “We owe it to the thousands of Oklahomans with autism to not only raise awareness but also offer support to them and their families as they navigate various challenges. As we recognize World Autism Day and Autism Awareness Month, I encourage you to learn more about autism and take action to promote acceptance within your local communities.”
