Kyle Whitehead, owner of Evans Drug Store in Enid received approval by the Senate Health and Human Services Committee to serve another five-year term on the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
Whitehead received his bachelor’s of science degree in biology and chemistry from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and a doctor of pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma. He has served as a member of the board since 2014.
“Dr. Whitehead plays a crucial role in protecting the health, safety and welfare of Oklahomans across the state by enforcing laws surrounding the practice of pharmacy,” Pederson said. “He’s served a very successful five-year term thus far, and I know he’s the right person for the post moving forward. Kyle’s character and moral compass serves him well in this position, and I’m honored to carry his nomination.”
Whitehead’s nomination will next be considered by the full Senate.
