Sen. Pederson Commends Senate Confirmation of Tyler Schnaithman’s Nomination to Oklahoma State Board of Agriculture

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Roland Pederson, R-Burlington, commended the Senate for voting this week to confirm the nomination of Tyler Schnaithman of Billings to serve on the State Board of Agriculture.

Pederson carried Schnaithman’s nomination, pointing to his farming and ranching experience.

“Tyler brings valuable firsthand, generational experience in farming and ranching that will serve the Oklahoma agriculture community well,” Pederson said. “I appreciate the Senate’s support in confirming his nomination, and I am confident he will provide a strong voice for producers and rural communities on the State Board of Agriculture.”

Schnaithman is a fifth-generation agricultural producer in Northwest Oklahoma. He holds a degree from Oklahoma State University in Agricultural Economics. Tyler and his wife, Loryn, have four children and are active in Oakwood Christian Church of Enid.

Schnaithman will serve a four-year term, ending April 26, 2030.
