Sen. Paul Rosino receives perfect RIED Report score

The Research Institute for Economic Development (RIED) awarded a perfect 2020 legislative scorecard to State Sen. Paul Rosino, R-Oklahoma City, based on his pro-business voting record.

RIED Report scores were graded on individual voting records for two House bills and eight Senate bills, including SB 801, which was authored by Rosino. The historic measure modernized how Oklahoma regulates Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and changed the previous regulatory relationship between physicians and CRNAs from supervisory to collaborative, bringing the state in line with most of the country. The bill was designed to increase access to healthcare across the state, especially in rural areas.

“As we recover from the economic fallout from COVID-19, it’s more important than ever that we support our businesses across the state,” Rosino said. “I will always take our small business owners, health care access, job growth and workforce development into consideration when casting my vote.”

RIED is an organization that promotes economic growth through the evaluation of business, job and economic growth issues considered by the Oklahoma Legislature.
