Sen. Micheal Bergstrom receives perfect RIED Report score

State Sen. Micheal Bergstrom, R-Adair, received a perfect rating from the Research Institute for Economic Development (RIED).

RIED Report scores were based on individual voting records for two House bills and eight Senate bills in the 2020 legislative session. Bergstrom authored two bills supported by RIED – HB 4018, the Rural Broadband Expansion Act, and SB 1688, the Oklahoma Advanced Mobility Pilot Program.

“Finding ways to help businesses succeed in Oklahoma, large or small, well-established or newly formed, is how we build a solid economy,” Bergstrom said. “When I consider how I will vote on a piece of legislation, how it will impact businesses and jobs in Oklahoma is always a top consideration.”

RIED is an organization that promotes economic growth through the evaluation of business, job and economic growth issues considered by the Oklahoma Legislature.
