Sen. Kirt shares information about early voting

OKLAHOMA CITY – Senate Democratic Leader Julia Kirt wants to ensure voters have accurate information about early voting in Oklahoma ahead of the election on Nov. 3, 2026.

“For Oklahoma to succeed, we need to ensure every eligible Oklahoma voter has the opportunity to cast their ballot. Because family life and work keep us busy, I want to be sure Oklahoma voters have accurate information about early voting so they can get to the polls,” said Kirt, D-Oklahoma City.

Early voting—referred to formally in state law as “in-person absentee voting” – will be held on these days prior to the Nov. 3 General Election:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 28 - 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 29 - 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 30 - 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 31 - 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Voters can only participate in early voting at the designated locations in the county in which they are registered. For example, if a voter is registered to vote at an address in Oklahoma County, they can only vote at the Oklahoma County early voting locations. Many counties have only one early voting location, but counties with larger populations often have more than one. Voters are encouraged to check the full list of locations in their county to find the one closest to them.

Voters can find their early voting location and additional details about early voting on the State Election Board website: https://oklahoma.gov/elections/voters/early-voting.html. If information is hard to access online or a person wants to clarify their early voting location, they should call their county election board.
