Sen. Bullard Named to Key Senate Committees

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. David Bullard has been chosen to serve on several key committees in the Oklahoma State Senate.  Senate President Pro Tempore-designate Greg Treat announced the appointments Friday.

The freshman Republican will serve on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural Resources and Regulatory Services as well as the Agriculture and Wildlife, Education and Energy Committees.

“I’m honored to be serving as the voice for Senate District 6 on these important committees,” said Bullard, R-Durant.  “I’ll be focusing on improving education and getting more resources into our classrooms as well as protecting our natural resources and supporting our farmers and ranchers who contribute to one of our state’s largest industries.  Together, these areas have a tremendous impact on our citizens and state economy.”

The legislature will convene for Organizational Day on Tuesday, January 8 and session will begin on Monday, February 4.
