Rosino attends grand opening of behavioral health facility for veterans, servicemembers and military families

OKLAHOMA CITY- Sen. Paul Rosino, R-Oklahoma City, attended the official ribbon-cutting Tuesday for the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Red Rock. The Oklahoma City facility is the second of its kind in the state and will offer mental health support for post-9/11 veterans, service members, or members of their family.

“Visiting the Lawton location allowed me to see firsthand how these clinics serve our veterans as they battle anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental illnesses,” Rosino said. “Since that visit to our state’s first clinic, I was determined to bring a facility to the OKC Metro and expand these critical services to those who need them most.”

The opening of the clinic was made possible through a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and the Cohen Veterans Network.

“As a veteran myself and as a state legislator, helping our veterans and military will always be one of my top priorities. It was an honor to be a part of today’s ceremony and see the finished project, as well as speak on this incredible mission. I greatly appreciate everyone who made this possible, and I look forward to seeing the impact this clinic has right here in Senate District 45,” Rosino said.
