OKLAHOMA CITY – On Thursday, the Energy and Telecommunications Committee has approved the reappointment of Robert L. Stallings, carried by Sen. Roland Pederson, R-Burlington, to the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB). Stallings, a distinguished Principal Engineer with extensive experience in environmental and petroleum-related projects, brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to this vital role.

With over 40 years of direct, active experience in various oil field activities, including drilling and well completion across multiple states, Stallings has established himself as a prominent figure in the oil and gas industry. As the founder of Envirotech Engineering in 1993, Stallings has played a pivotal role in overseeing environmental and petroleum-related projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, Stallings has spearheaded the design and implementation of environmental remediation systems for numerous oil field pollution sites across Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Georgia, and Arkansas. His expertise extends to pollution assessments, geophysical surveying, remediation system design, underground storage tank investigations, and risk assessments.

Stallings is currently serving on the Oklahoma Water Resources Board.

“Robert Stallings' extensive experience and dedication to environmental stewardship make him an invaluable member of the Oklahoma Water Resources Board,” Pederson said. “His leadership and expertise is instrumental in advancing water resource management initiatives and ensuring the sustainability of Oklahoma's water supply.”
