OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Nikki Nice, D-Oklahoma City, has been honored by two organizations for her public service and leadership in government. She’s received the Elected Women of Excellence Award by the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL) and is featured in KNOW Women’s 2026 “Women to KNOW in Oklahoma” publication for transformative leadership.
NFWL is a nonpartisan organization which provides strategic resources to elected women for leadership development and effective governance, and includes members serving in state, county and municipal elected office. Nice was honored by NFWL for demonstrating exceptional dedication to public service and outstanding leadership.
“I greatly appreciate this recognition by the National Foundation for Women Leaders,” Nice said. “As women serving in elected office, we have the ability to shine light on important issues and opportunities that we are in a unique position to advocate for, and I am grateful to be entrusted to address those issues as a member of the Oklahoma Senate.”
KNOW Women is a global media company and community platform that celebrates and connects high-achieving women. This year’s inaugural “Women to KNOW in Oklahoma” publication features 52 high-impact female leaders. Nice was recognized for her career-long commitment to community advocacy and legislative progress.
“I am honored to be included among such a dynamic group of women who are shaping the future of our state,” Nice said. “This work has always been about keeping community first, and this recognition reflects the collective strength of the people of District 48 who strive for belonging, equity, and justice every day.”
