Sen. Cody Rogers, R-Tulsa, and Sen. Roland Pederson, R-Burlington, will study process validation and medical marijuana testing requirements in the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on Monday, Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. in room 535 of the state Capitol.
The study will include an overview of Oklahoma’s medical marijuana industry as well as process validation, which allows marijuana manufacturers, growers and producers to assure quality and provide consumers with a safe and reliable product.
Study presenters will include David Vaillencourt, founder and CEO of CMP Collective and chairman of the Facility Design Committee of the National Cannabis Industry Association; Kevin Gallagher, director of compliance and regulatory affairs of Apothecary Farms and Apothecary Extracts and founder of the Colorado Cannabis Manufactures Association; Lee Rhoades, Oklahoma State Department of Health laboratory program oversight manager and certified medical technologist; Bryan Taylor, commercial cannabis cultivation consultant and former agricultural research and development professional; Nate Gregory, owner of OKAF, Inc.; and Dr. Charles Bogie, Testing Lab Alliance of Oklahoma president.
