Coleman Mourns Passing of Osage County Commissioner Charlie Cartwright

PONCA CITY – Sen. Bill Coleman, R-Ponca City, released the following statement on the death of Osage County District 3 Commissioner Charlie Cartwright.

“I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Charlie Cartwright, who was an extraordinary county commissioner and a lifelong defender of public safety. Charlie was a friend and mentor to so many, especially those who worked alongside him during his four decades with the Osage County Sheriff’s Office. His life’s work centered on keeping the people of Osage County safe and making sure their voices were heard while he served as a county commissioner. He was a devoted public servant who truly loved helping people. This is a tremendous loss for our community. I will be praying for Charlie’s family and friends during this difficult time.”
