Chairs of Senate and House Transportation Committees comment on the passing of Gary Ridley

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. John Haste, R-Broken Arrow, chair of the Senate Aeronautics and Transportation Committee, Rep. Nicole Miller, R-Edmond, chair of the House Appropriations and Budget Transportation Subcommittee, and Rep. Ronny Johns, R-Ada, chair of the House Transportation Committee, issued the following joint statement Thursday on the passing of former Oklahoma Department of Transportation Sec. Gary Ridley.

“Gary was a true public servant, respected by all who knew and worked with him, on both sides of the aisle.  His vision and leadership helped us modernize our entire approach to transportation infrastructure planning and funding in Oklahoma.  He was the consummate professional and an innovator.
