Carver, an Elk City tag agent, has served on the Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Commission since 2009 and is currently serving as the acting chairperson.
“I am pleased with the experience Ms. Carver brings to the Oklahoma Motor Vehicle commission,” said Sen. Jech, R-Kingfisher. “I am confident she will continue to bring extensive knowledge and real-life experience to her post.”
Carver holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and is a member of the Elk City Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband, Rod, have two children, Sydney and Rex.
The commission was established in 1953 as the licensing agency for motor vehicle manufacturers, remanufacturers, distributors, dealers, salesmen, wholesalers and their representatives.
