OKLAHOMA CITY- Sen. David Bullard, R-Durant, urges Oklahoma medical providers to take advantage of an upcoming event to help people who have questions about the state’s transition to SoonerSelect Medicaid coverage.
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority is holding in-person office hours in Oklahoma City on Friday, July 12 to assist Oklahomans who need help due to the agency’s transition to a managed care model, which affected many Medicaid recipients and those covered by the Children’s Specialty Program.
“This is a great opportunity for all providers in Oklahoma who are hurting due to the managed care rollout to have their voices heard,” Bullard said. “Many have asked, ‘What is the next step?’ This is one of many steps we are taking to solve this problem.”
“I am asking providers to show up on July 12 at the OHCA to detail ALL of the problems you’re currently facing. The managed care organizations will be there with teams to talk to you one-on-one. I am fighting for all providers in Oklahoma to find real-time solutions to help. Together we can solve this problem!”
