Sen. Micheal Bergstrom, R-Adair, met with members of the Adair Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) at Family and Consumer Sciences Day at the Capitol February 9.
“FCCLA is a premier youth organization that prepares today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders,” Bergstrom said. “I enjoyed meeting with representatives from Adair’s impressive FCCLA chapter, which was recently recognized as a 2021 Gold Star Chapter – the highest honor a chapter can receive. These ladies were professional, respectful and represented Adair Public Schools at the highest level.”
After two years of COVID-19 restrictions, the state Capitol is fully open to visitors, school groups and organizations during the 2022 legislative session.
“It was nice to return to a little normalcy at the Capitol with no COVID restrictions,” Bergstrom said. “I look forward to making up for lost time and seeing many of Oklahoma’s premier student groups and advocacy organizations back at the Capitol during this legislative session.”
