OKLAHOMA CITY – Avery Frix was sworn into the Oklahoma Senate during a ceremony in the Senate Chamber on Wednesday. The Senate’s Chief Presiding Officer, Sen. Brent Howard, presided over the ceremony, and Oklahoma Supreme Court Chief Justice M. John Kane IV administered the oath of office.
Frix is a fourth-generation resident of Muskogee, where he and his wife, Haley, own and operate multiple small businesses. The Frixes are members of the First Baptist Church of Muskogee.
“I’m deeply grateful for the privilege of representing Senate District 9. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues in the Legislature, Oklahoma’s federal delegation, and under the leadership of President Trump, whose historic victory reminded us of the strength and resolve of the American people. Together, we can continue forging a brighter future for our state—one rooted in faith, family, and the principles that have made Oklahoma strong,” Frix said.
Frix formerly served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 2016 to 2022. He will begin his first term in the Oklahoma Senate on November 20.
