OSBI honors Sen. Thompson

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has honored State Sen. Roger Thompson for his efforts in the Legislature to support the crime investigation agency. OSBI Director Stan Florence presented Thompson with the 2016 OSBI Director’s Award during a ceremony held in Norman on December 13.

Thompson said he was humbled that his efforts were honored by the agency.

A host of familiar faces will lead the Oklahoma Senate when the Legislature convenes for its 1997 session in February. Senator Stratton Taylor, who will return for his second term as President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma Senate, formally announced leadership and committee assignments for the 46th session of the Oklahoma Legislature today.

"There will be a few changes, but for the most part, the Senate leadership structure will remain as is," said Senator Taylor. "We've got a team that's been working hard and doing well so there's really no need to change the line-up.
