OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. David Bullard will serve in new leadership roles for the 59^th Legislature, along with other new and continuing committee assignments.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Todd Gollihare has been named vice chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and has been given seats on several other prominent committees in the upper chamber for the 59^th Legislature.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Cody Rogers, R-Tulsa, is planning to file legislation that ensures parents remain in control of conversations and actions regarding their children’s gender identity and sexual orientation.

Sen. Brent Howard will be serving in additional leadership roles for the 59^th Legislature. Senate Pro Tempore Greg Treat appointed the Altus Republican to serve as chair of both the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Safety and Judiciary. He will also be continuing his service as vice chair of the Finance Committee and as the Senate’s chief presiding officer.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, will serve as the vice chair of the Senate Veterans and Military Affairs Committee for the 59^th Legislature.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Ally Seifried, R-Claremore, will serve as vice chair of the Senate Education Committee for the 59^th Legislature.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. John Haste has been chosen to chair the Senate’s Aeronautics and Transportation Committee for the 59^th Legislature. Formally called the Senate Transportation Committee, the policy panel has been restructured to highlight the increasing impact of the aviation industry in Oklahoma, the state’s second leading economic driver.
