OKLAHOMA CITY – The full Senate approved a measure on Wednesday requiring insurance companies to cover diagnostic mammograms. House Bill 3504 principal authors, Sen. Brenda Stanley, R-Midwest City, and Rep. Melissa Provenzano, D-Tulsa, said this coverage would save lives.

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Senate unanimously approved legislation Tuesday to provide more transparency of state service contracts. Sen. Bill Coleman, R-Ponca City, is the principal Senate author of House Bill 3484, which would require state agencies accepting a service contract, whether bid or no bid, to list the city, state, and country in which the services will be provided.

Kevin Stitt after he signed Senate Bill 968 into law on Monday.  The measure would prohibit the release of a recording showing an officer dying in the line of duty unless the court rules the material should be released in specific cases.

Sen. Shane Jett held a press conference today addressing abuse allegations against a former Shawnee High School assistant athletic director and claims that the school district allowed the abuse to continue by not acting on complaints.
