OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Senate has advanced legislation from Senate Appropriations Chairman Chuck Hall, R-Perry, that would make it a felony to falsely impersonate a law enforcement officer.
The Senate on Monday unanimously passed Senate Bill 1936 in a vote of 48 to 0.

Kirt, D-Oklahoma City, said Oklahoma has one of the fastest eviction processes in the country. Senate Bill 1209, which was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, would exclude Sundays and federal holidays from the filing schedule.

read more.CHANDLER – Sen. Grant Green, R-Wellston, today thanked U.S. Rep. Stephanie Bice for securing $8 million in federal funding for improvements at the Chandler Regional Airport.
Green attended a ceremony at the airport on Tuesday as Bice presented a check to Chandler City Manager Jason Orr.
The grant will help the City of Chandler extend the airport’s runway so it can accommodate larger airplanes. The project will extend the runway from about 4,000 feet to 5,000 feet.
