Clark Jolley, provides that any person who has been employed as a full-time teacher by a school district in Oklahoma who applies for employment as a full-time teacher in another school district in this state may not be required to have a national criminal history record check if the teacher produces a copy of a national criminal history record check completed within the previous five years and a letter from the school district in which the teacher was employed stating the teacher left in good standing.

-SB 251 by Sen. Earl Garrison, allows the Oklahoma School for the Blind and the Oklahoma School for the Deaf to be considered local education agencies solely for the purposes of purchasing, administering and obtaining test results.

-SB 431 by Sen. Ron Sharp, establishes a task force to study discipline procedures in public schools.
