Clark Jolley, allows the State Board of Education to adopt alternative tests by which a student may demonstrate mastery of the desired levels of competencies and allows students who demonstrate mastery on alternative tests to be promoted to the next grade level or graduate regardless of any instructional time requirements placed on the student.

Gus Blackwell, states that for admission into an institution within the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education, two complete years of a vocational-technical program, which participates in a college alliance agreement and allows the student to earn at the end of the program an approved industry recognized license, will meet the requirement for competencies in foreign or non-English language.

-HB 1757 by Rep. Jadine Nollan, amends language relating to school employees.

-HB 1881 by Rep. Ann Coody, creates the School Transportation Task Force.

-SB 156 by Sen. Jim Halligan, requires the State Regents for Higher Education to submit a report to the Legislature with all baccalaureate programs offered in the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education.

-SB 228 by Sen. Frank Simpson, creates the Quality Workforce for Oklahoma’s Heroes Act.

Gary Stanislawski, authorizes the board of education of any school district which is contiguous to any other school district located in an adjacent state to enter into contracts with the board of education of the school district located in the adjacent state for the purpose of providing shared administrative services.

-SB 249 by Sen. Brian Bingman, amends language pertaining to the liability of state or political subdivision relating to the discharge and termination of group insurance.

Ron Sharp, exempts from liability where no prior contractual relationship exists any person who in good faith renders or attempts to render emergency care by administering an opioid antagonist based on a reasonable belief or actual knowledge that the victim is experiencing an opioid drug overdose.

-SB 455 by Sen. Patrick Anderson, modifies the language of the oath taken by general panel jury members.

Rob Standridge, requires all residents and nonresident contractors shall have in their possession any identification number issued for purposes of Oklahoma workers’ compensation and any contractor who violates or does not comply with rules related to owners, lessees, or renters awarding a contract be liable for unpaid taxes and wages and any other penalties resulting from contract.

-SB 582 by Sen. Rick Brinkley, amends language relating to service liens on personal property.

-SB 775 by Sen. A.J. Griffin, allows the issuing of a temporary handgun license for a period not to exceed six months to any person who has been granted a victim’s protective order by the court.

-SB 854 by Sen. Brian Crain, requires all collective bargaining agreements to include a provision specifying the agreement will not apply to police officers that were found to have used excessive force in performing their duties and were terminated for that act.

-SB 928 by Sen. Rick Brinkley, permits a marriage certificate issued prior to June 8, 2006, to be reissued upon request by the certificate holder to include the full name by which the party will be known after the marriage for each party.
