• The Senate met Tuesday, approving the following measures.

-SB 1062 by Sen. Brian Bingman, creates the Administrative Workers’ Compensation Act.

-SB 1 by Sen. Cliff Branan, prohibits a peace officer from taking a person into custody for disturbing the peace as a result of alcohol intoxication when the office has contact with the person because they alone or with another person requested emergency medical assistance for an individual who reasonably appeared to be in need of medical assistance due to alcohol consumption.

-SB 396 by Sen. Clark Jolley, removes outdated references to the Human Rights Commission.

-SB 404 by Sen. Clark Jolley, creates the Personal Injury Trust Fund Transparency Act.

-SB 495 by Sen. Clark Jolley, modifies language related to the Oklahoma State Regents Endowment Trust Fund.

-SB 596 by Sen. David Holt, requires the director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services to develop a method of accountability for performance and efficiency to be used by state governmental agencies.

-SB 630 by Sen. Clark Jolley, requires any bid submissions made by a state agency or any political subdivision that substitute an item with one that is alike in quality and design or which meets the required specifications of the bid be considered and not be prohibited.

-SB 847 by Sen. Clark Jolley, creates the Oklahoma Pension Stabilization Fund.

-SB 887 by Sen. David Holt, prohibits the transfer of food stamps to those not authorized to participate in the program.

-SB 267 by Sen. Gary Stanislawski, dissolves the Statewide Virtual Charter School Board.

-SB 295 by Sen. Tom Ivester, amends language relating to mental health.

-SB 581 by Sen. Tom Ivester, amends language relating to proceedings for persons requiring treatment.

-SB 682 by Sen. Don Barrington, requires the development, delivery, support, and evaluation of training, education and professional certification programs for fire service by Oklahoma State University Fire Service Training.

-SB 779 by Sen. Don Barrington, authorizes the Department of Public Safety to issue an annual fleet permit to an electric utility.

-SB 886 by Sen. Don Barrington, authorizes any officer of the Department of Public Safety or any other political subdivision of the state to tow any vehicle found upon public roads, highways, streets, turnpikes, private parking lots accessible to the public, other public places or upon any private road, road, street, alley or lane which provides access to one or more single or multi-family dwellings.

• The Senate approved the following measures Thursday:

-SB 853 by Sen. Greg Treat, allows the State Commissioner of Health to request reports from medical facilities offering diagnostic or treatment services for cancerous diseases and precancerous conditions to report any or all data information requested.

-SB 931 by Sen. Ron Justice, creates provisions relating to agritourism.

-SB 549 by Sen. Greg Treat, changes the coverage of the Oklahoma Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

-SB 235 by Sen. Frank Simpson, places the operation and management of veterans centers operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs under the War Veterans Commission.

-SB 197 by Sen. A.J. Griffin, requires that a municipal police chief receive CLEET training developed by the Oklahoma Chiefs of Police Association.
