-SCR 32 by Sen. Jerry Ellis, Allows Congress to direct the United States Geological Survey to conduct a master multi-state study of the Red River Watershed Basin.

-SR 46 by Sen. Brian Crain, celebrates the centennial anniversary of YWCA Tulsa.


• Senate committees approved several measures Monday including the following.

-HB 2626 by Rep. Katie Henke, repeals language relating to an application for a school transfer.

-HB 3160 by Rep. Harold Wright, amends language relating to the Oklahoma Scrap Metal Dealers Act.

-HB 2765 by Rep. Brian Renegar, modifies license expiration for animal shelters and pet breeders.


• The House met Monday and adjourned without considering legislation.


• House committees took no action on bills Monday.

Tuesday, March 18

• The Senate met Tuesday, approving several executive nominations.


• Senate committees approved a number of measures Tuesday including the following.

-HB 2405 by Rep. Randy Grau, updates references to the Governmental Tort Claims Act.

-HB 2580 by Rep. Todd Thomsen, extends the provisions of the Compete with Canada Film Act.

-HB 2711 by Rep. Doug Cox, extends the Oklahoma Quality Events Incentive Act.

-HB 2325 by Rep. Bobby Cleveland, extends civil immunity during a time of emergency.

-HB 2859 by Rep. Ben Sherrer, removes the word pilot in references to mental health courts.


• The House took no action on bills Tuesday.


• House committees approved one bill Tuesday.

-SB 1315 by Sen. Bryce Marlatt, clarifies language related to protest periods for initiative petitions.

Wednesday, March 19

• The Senate met Wednesday, approving the following resolution.

-SR 49 by Sen. Susan Paddack, proclaims March 19, 2014, as Girl Scout Day in Oklahoma.
