Turnbow’s nomination to NOC Board of Regents approved by Senate

The state Senate approved the nomination of Jason Turnbow to sit on the Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) Board of Regents Thursday. The nomination was carried by Sen. Roland Pederson, R-Burlington.

An Enid native, Turnbow currently serves as the vice president of Security National Bank in Enid. He’s built a 22-year career in the banking industry and is a graduate of the Class XIX of Leadership Greater Enid. He currently sits on the Board of the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce and serves as the Ward 2 representative on the City of Enid’s $300 million Kaw Lake Funding oversight committee. He also a member of the Enid Regional Development Alliance Board, Autry Education Foundation Board, United Way Board and the Commons Continuing Care Retirement Community Board of Directors.

“Jason’s years of knowledge and experience in the banking industry will be an asset for the NOC board as they continue to position the college for future success,” Pederson said. “It was an honor to carry his nomination and I look forward to watching him serve our community in this capacity as the college continues to grow.” 

The NOC Board of Regents consists of five members and has administrative, supervisory, and instructional responsibility for the college.

Turnbow’s term is set to expire in 2026.
