Sen. Simpson comments on tragic accident in Tishomingo

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sen. Frank Simpson, R-Springer, released the following statement about the tragic accident in Tishomingo Tuesday that resulted in the deaths of six high school students.

“My heart is broken for the Tishomingo community. Being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather myself, such a tragic loss of young life is incomprehensible. I know there are no words that will help ease the suffering and pain of these girls’ grieving families and friends, but please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many, including mine and the entire Senate family as well.

“Tishomingo is a tight knit community, and I pray you all will find strength and comfort in each other during this unimaginable time.”
