Loveless reacts to passage of Cultural Center measure

OKLAHOMA CITY – Senator Kyle Loveless, R-Oklahoma City, today issued the following statement regarding the passage of the bill to fund the completion of the American Indian Cultural Center and Museum.

“I am pleased that we have finally come to a reasonable solution to complete the American Indian Cultural Center and Museum. This is an investment in our future that will continue the economic and tourism boom of downtown Oklahoma City. The overall economic impact to the state will be $3.9 billion, and I think this investment will be worth every penny. A generation from now our kids and grandkids will be able to experience this Smithsonian-style facility on the banks of the Oklahoma River. Our state is known for our Native American culture and history and this museum will help us share our heritage with the world.”
