SENATE ARTWORK

Welcome to our webpage showcasing the art projects sponsored by the Oklahoma State Senate Historical Preservation Fund, Inc. (“Senate Art Fund”). Senator Charles R. Ford is President and founder of this organization, which has sponsored over 60 pieces of original art for the Oklahoma State Capitol and selected other locations.

These works of art represent various moments in Oklahoma’s rich and colorful history and several of Oklahoma’s famous citizens. More projects are in the planning stages and will be posted here as they are completed.

While the Capitol building does indeed have more art than presented here, the projects listed on this website are specifically sponsored by the Senate Art Fund.

We hope you enjoy looking at the images and will join us at the Capitol in the near future to view them in person.
