Senator Corn Asks Minority Leader to Leave Politics Out of Debate
“It is amazing to me the lengths to which Senator
Coffee and members of the Senate Republican Caucus will go to sling
mud at policies proposed by Democrats – proposals that could
clearly be seen as a bi-partisan effort to move Oklahoma forward.
“If the Minority Leader would spend more time trying to conduct
the business of this state and less time grandstanding for political
gain perhaps then we could all come together and do what’s
right for Oklahoma.
“Senate Democrats are far more interested in delivering strong
policies that promote personal responsibility and accountability
than playing partisan politics with every issue that arises from
the Legislature.
“The people of this state deserve better, and Senate Democrats
will continue to put politics on the backburner in order to deliver
an agenda that promotes what all Oklahomans want, and that is greater
responsibility and accountability in state government.
